Elliot Watt – In Talks

Yep, three Bradford City players offered new deals, and all three are players I think could do a job for us. Watt is a central midfielder who came through the youth ranks at Wolves and I seem to recall a discussion a few years ago where we might have been looking at him on loan; I might be wrong and a Google search shows nothing, but it rings a bell.

Watt plays holding midfield (I know I’m rinsing it, but it’s the key position for me) and he topped League Two’s table for defensive duels this season, contesting 942 with an impressive 58.4% win rate. He’s only 22, but as he’s been offered a deal any potential suitor would have to pay Bradford a fee covering his development in the two years he’s been there.
