Paudie O'Connor makes permanent Bradford City switch - Leeds United

I’m not convinced of our need for a new defender, but given last season’s injury record, it might be nice to get one with a clean bill of health. Former Leeds United man O’Connor has been with Bradford City for three seasons, and in the last two, he played 80 of their 102 matches, racking up 122 appearances for them in all competitions. He’s 24, so available for nothing if we could tempt him, and at six foot three, he’s a towering presence as well.

O’Connor was top five in League Two for shots blocked this season, with 39, and 16th in the division for aerial duels, with 434 in total. Despite being right-footed he operated much of the season at left centre back, and I wonder if he might be the type of player who gets a League One move this summer and quickly accrues value.
