Lee Angol has most recently been with Cheltenham Town, leaving in December 2025 after joining on a one-year deal that summer. A 31-year-old forward, he started out in the Tottenham Hotspur youth setup before signing professionally with Wycombe Wanderers, then spent that early period building senior minutes through non-League loans at Hendon, Maidenhead United and Boreham Wood.

His breakthrough came with Boreham Wood during the 2014–15 season while on loan from Luton Town, finishing as Conference South top scorer with 25 goals in 39 league games. From there, he moved into the EFL with Peterborough United, and later played for Mansfield Town, Shrewsbury Town, Leyton Orient, Bradford City and Sutton United, with a loan spell at Woking during 2023–24. Angol also had two separate loan stints at the Bank, and his most recent league run came at Morecambe in 2024–25 before the short spell at Cheltenham.
