April –  Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 (A) 7.87

We only played Wycombe twice in 2023, but on both occasions, City shone. This was the first of two wins against the Chairboys, something we hadn’t previously managed since March 2009, and our first win on their home ground since 2006.

What was so sweet about this? The fact we often got bullied by them? Perhaps. A first goal for Dylan Duffy after his move from UCD? Maybe. Lasse Sorensen smashing a goal from inside his own half to cap off the win? Absolutely.
