Signed in January 2024 from Luton, Joe Taylor helped spark an unexpected play-off charge. With Tyler Walker, Ben House, and Jack Vale all injured, Taylor slotted in and scored 10 goals with two assists — including vital strikes in wins over Cambridge, Barnsley, and Carlisle.
Though his scoring came in streaks, his clinical finishing and movement transformed Lincoln’s front line. The Imps just missed out on the top six, but Taylor’s impact was immense. Unfortunately, City were priced out of a permanent move, but for a few glorious months, he gave the fans hope — and goals.
