#7 – Alex Palmer (2020–21)
Palmer was a key figure in Lincoln’s play-off season under Michael Appleton, keeping 19 clean sheets in 48 matches. On loan from West Brom, he made an immediate impact, pulling off several key saves in a debut win against Oxford. He was ever-present until an injury ruled him out of the second leg of the semi-final, but his influence throughout the campaign was enormous.
Reliable, agile, and vocal, Palmer gave City the security to build from the back. Now a Premier League player with Ipswich, his time at Sincil Bank remains a highlight in an already impressive career trajectory.
