Jubril Okedina (Spurs)

We have had some decent luck with right-sided defenders from Spurs, and Okedina could be the next TJ Eyoma. He joined Cambridge in January, playing 14 times for them as they were promoted from League Two and I wonder if Spurs might like him to have a season at our level. Obviously, Cambridge would be one possible destination, but having seen TJ’s progress, we’d surely be on Spurs’ radar when it comes to developing players.

Okedina is 6ft, plays right centre back mostly, but we said the same of TJ and look how he did for us across the back four. What impressed me about him from the videos I’ve watched this morning is his aerial prowess – he won 61% of his aerial duels in League Two last season, impressive for a young defender in a challenging division.
