Taylor Richards (Brighton)

Having been impressed with Matt Smith in the first game against Doncaster, I felt suitably impressed by Richards in the second. The former Manchester City man looked a danger every time he got on the ball, and in his role as a ten, he certainly fits our requirements over the summer. The 20-year-old chipped in with 11 goals and five assists for Rovers, and that may earn him a move to the league above. However, one of the questions over him before his Doncaster move was around his application according to The Athletic, and Brighton might see the progress Johnson, Eyoma and Rogers made and feel Richards would benefit from time with Michael Appleton. Also, having signed Max Sanders from them, there’s already a link between the clubs.
