Charlie Trout – Puerto Rico

 

Any bookie with half a brain would have Trout on the list, surely? He’s a former Imps youth player who didn’t make the grade but who has carved a niche for himself as an international coach with Puerto Rico, ranked 160th in the world.

Trout made headlines when his team beat Surinam in the Gold Cup qualification, and he’s coached in MLS as well. He’d be an outsider, but more likely than Mark Cooper, for sure.
