Slack marking? After shipping eight? I think that’s an understatement.
This was a freak result in the first game back after World War II – City had drawn 1-1 with Stanley earlier in the season and were on a three-game winning streak.
Still, 8-4, that’s some game, right? Oddly, like in the 1931/32 season, we were Champions a year later.
