Possible Signing This Week: Who Might Be In The Frame?

Rakish Bingham

Bingham has recently been released by Doncaster Rovers and, in my eyes, would only be cover and nothing more. He bagged once in eight games for them, but his move there was a surprise after he struggled to impress at Cheltenham last season, failing to score in ten.

He’s previously played for Hamilton Academicals, Hartlepool and Mansfield and is a free agent who had his future decide quite late on, which could account for the delay. Darren Moore and MA will be known to each other through their West Brom connections too, so perhaps if we’re needing cover and nothing more Bingham might do a job.

It’s a big might though.

  1. Speculate away, Gary. As ever, a read as fascinating as the context is baffling. It feels like David Holdsworth all over again. “He’s got two legs. Sign him.”

  2. Blimey! David Holdsworth. That was desperate patching of holes in a sinking ship by a man of many patches. We are now recruiting for a voyage of discovery. Anyway, nice to hear from you Mike!
