League One continues to produce stories centred on selection decisions, supporter behaviour, squad morale and the search for momentum as the winter schedule gathers pace. Here is the latest picture across the division.

Blackpool Welcome Key Returns Ahead of Carlisle and Rotherham Tests

Blackpool head coach Ian Evatt says his squad will look very different in the coming weeks as several long term absentees return to training.

James Husband made his first start of the season in the Trophy defeat at Harrogate, completing 60 minutes after missing three months following hamstring surgery. Evatt confirmed that Josh Bowler and Albie Morgan will rejoin the group, while Dale Taylor and Niall Ennis are progressing well toward returns. Crystal Palace loanee Danny Imray is also set to be available for the FA Cup tie with Carlisle.

“He is the first one back. We will have Josh Bowler and Albie training on Wednesday. Dale is not far behind them and Niall is not far behind him. Things are going to get better, but for now we just need to keep everyone positive.”

Evatt believes the squad will quickly regain balance as senior figures restore competition for places and allow Blackpool to manage workloads across a heavy December schedule.
