The list of players we have been linked with who are currently available goes on.
After early academy exposure at Tottenham, Williams dropped into non-league with Tower Hamlets before Crystal Palace and Watford offered routes back into the professional game. His senior breakthrough came at Wycombe Wanderers, where raw pace and direct wing play caught the eye. A permanent move to Exeter City in 2019 transformed his standing: he delivered 14 assists in 2019–20, added nine goals in two seasons, and claimed both Player and Goal of the Season awards. It was on the conclusion of his stint in Devon that we were linked with a move.
Hull City secured his services instead, but a move to Bolton two years later provided greater stability. At the University of Bolton Stadium, he featured regularly, contributing to an EFL Trophy triumph in 2023 and adding important goals in League One.
In 2025, he signed a short-term contract with Leyton Orient, offering experienced width before being released that summer.
