Six Players Who Could Do a Job For The Imps Next Season

Kris Moore (Free Agent)

This will delight Nick Oxberry, who has been suggesting him to me for a while. Painfully, having scoped out his pedigree, I can see why. As captain of Leeds United’s Under-21s, Moore has demonstrated maturity and composure at the heart of defence. With over 70 appearances across three seasons at academy level, he brings consistency and valuable experience. He’s just been released, so there’s no cost involved in signing him.

At just 21, he’s ready for regular first-team football, and Lincoln could offer the platform he needs to make the step up. His grounding at a Premier League-chasing club means he’s technically sound and tactically aware—he’s been on the radar of Crewe this season, as well as trialling at Hibernian, so would be a sound capture.
