My first couple of picks are going to fit with our previous recruitment – keepers who played in League Two last season, who may be looking for the next big loan. I’ve gone for the top end of the division, and that’s led me to the Hull City man on loan at Doncaster.
He’s 6ft 2in, which is getting on the bigger side, and in terms of ‘prevented goals’ – the metric we raved about for Lukas last season, he was eighth in the division. When you narrow that down to keepers 21 and under, he was top of the metrics.
He represented France at Under 20 level, and played just 20 times for Doncaster, making his stats even more impressive.
However, a news report at the end of last season suggested he may wish to stay at Hull and fight for a first-team place next season.
