Folkes was an Imps player for two seasons – 2003/04 and 04/05. In the first season, he had a squad number somewhere down the list and appeared twice, starting an EFL Trophy defeat and coming on in an FA Cup defeat. His only outing actually wearing the number 5 shirt came on a big night for City – the night we stuffed Championship Crewe 5-1 at the Bank.

After us, he had a short spell with Tamworth before (probably) floating around the non-league scene.
