An Alternative Lincoln City XI (Part Two)

4 – Robbie Williams

The number 4 shirt has been worn by some really average players. Gary Mills wore it, Todd Jordan, and Adie Moses (good player but past his best here). However, I’ve gone for Robbie Williams, a man who did little to entertain us when he was here.

It’s not his fault as such – 2011/12 was an awful season, and he was a non-league defender. A year earlier, we’d been watching players like Josh Gowling and a fit Adam Watts in action, and within 12 months, we were borrowing players Telford didn’t want. He played 11 games for City, starting ten, and finished on the winning side once.
