10: Derby County 2-0 (H) 7.54

First on the list is a big home win against Derby County from earlier this season. We hadn’t played Derby at the Bank in a league game since 1986 and hadn’t beaten them in the league since 1959. After a couple of mediocre home draws, there was a huge amount of apathy around the ground for this one.
That was dispelled quickly when Jack Diamond opened the scoring from the spot on 12 minutes. The on-loan Sunderland man was on fire, turning in a confident performance, but it was Ben House who secured the win for City, moments after Nathaniel Mendez-Laing had a goal ruled out for offside.
