Callum Cooke

 
Cooke is the player the Peterborough fans seem to think is the target for City. He’s an attacking midfielder, able to play the McCartan role and would seemingly be coming on loan as he only joined them in July.

He’s got England honours up to Under 18 level and emerged from the Middlesbrough youth set up to much acclaim. He’s had two successful spells on loan with Blackpool and Crewe, but hasn’t made an impression at London Road, yet.

Likelihood: 7/10

I didn’t include him on my regular list, but three or four ‘ITK’ messages from Posh fans have left me wondering if this is the object of our desires.

he’s a short midfielder, 5ft 7in tall, so would certainly be someone we looked to play through, rather than up to.
