George Cooper

This would be a real coup for City. Cooper rolled off the Crewe Alexandra production line, making 122 starts for them in his early years. Posh paid an undisclosed fee for him a year ago, hoping to see a big return on their investment.

He’s on a three and a half year deal, with two and a half years of that left to run, so we’d be unlikely to be buying outright, just like the other two lads I’ve covered. 

Cooper is an advanced midfielder, he likes to provide goals and assists and would most likely be operating in the McCartan role if he did sign.

Likelihood: 4/10

This one I can’t see as much. We’ve got players in that role, Frecklington and Pett to be precise and I can’t see us bringing in Cooper as well, especially not if the Lewis Travis stuff is to be believed.
