No Thanks: Jefferson Louis
Jefferson Louis could probably be included in most clubs articles, he’s played for more than he hasn’t, but this is a direct move from the Imps to Newport.
I liked Louis. He was a journeyman, but he came in and did what was needed at the end of the 2011/12 season. It had been a disaster, but six goals in 14 outings helped keep us in the BSP and put us back on the road to recovery.
I’d hoped his nomadic wanderings were at an end, but that 2-0 win against Newport had given them a glimpse of the gun for hire, and they wanted him. So, after five months with City, he was off again, racking up the Premier Inn loyalty points in South Wales.
We were left with Rob Duffy, remember him? No?
Oh.
