Bradford City: Neufville says summer switch is already being vindicated

Bradford City wing back Josh Neufville believes his decision to leave newly promoted AFC Wimbledon for Valley Parade is paying off, with the Bantams pushing at the top end of League One. The 24-year-old weighed up multiple offers before choosing City based on style, formation and manager fit.

“When I weighed all that up, Bradford were the clear front runners… People expected me to stay comfortable, but sometimes you have to put yourself in a more pressured situation.”

Neufville, who assisted a winner against Luton in August, also highlighted strong family backing and his involvement in the club’s community work, attending an EFL Week of Action event with the Bradford City FC Community Foundation and SSAFA.

“It allows us to be a face fans can relate to, not just one they only see on a matchday.”
