Where Are They Now?: Luton Town’s Last Visit To Sincil Bank

Harry is one of my all-time favourites, a rarity in that he is the only player to play in three divisions for City heading upwards, not downwards (John McGinley the other in post-war football). After completing the hat trick of trophies also enjoyed by Matt Rhead, he stayed for the 2020/21 League One campaign as we made the play-offs.

He left at the end of the season for Bristol Rovers, whom he helped to promotion, and recently he linked up with Danny and Nicky at Colchester United.

Palmer was a marmite figure, either loved for his unpredictable nature, or disliked for his aloof, ‘more chance of folding a crisp’ attitude.

There is no doubt he’s made headlines since. After a spell with Wimbledon, he moved to Wrexham and became a key part of their rise to the Championship, even getting a cameo in Deadpool 2. He’s currently with Swindon Town, for whom he scored on his debut.

Never fall in love with a loan player, right? That wasn’t hard to follow with Maguire-Drew, who promised so much after a spell with Dagenham the season before, but delivered little. He never settled and left, moving to promotion rivals Coventry City.

He appeared three times for the Sky Blues, and has since had stints with Wrexham (loan), Leyton Orient, Crawley Town (loan), Woking, Grimsby Town, Yeovil Town, Barnet (loan), Weymouth, Whitehawk and most recently, Lewes.
