Michael Bostwick

This game came early in Bostwick’s Imps career. The midfielder-turned-defender had a City career that eclipsed Neal Eardley – he won a Player of the Season, lifted two trophies, made over 125 appearances, and eventually played his final game against Burton before signing for Burton.
After Burton, he went back to Stevenage, whom he helped to promotion, and then Boston United, whom he helped to promotion. Most recently, he’s been with St Albans Town.
Nathan Arnold

As a hero of our 2016/17 season, Nathan was enjoying a final swansong with the Imps. Life back in the Football League saw his goal dry up a little, and while he was still a constant threat from out wide, competition for places began to build. He lasted until January and had a short spell at Salford City, a club he described as ‘getting ahead of themselves‘ in March 2018.
He appeared briefly for Boston, Altrincham and Bourne, spending time as assistant manager of the Pilgrims. He has transitioned into management, enjoying spells with Bourne Town, Newark Town, Newark and Sherwood United, Cleethorpes Town, Sleaford Town, and currently Grantham Town
Alex Woodyard

Woodyard was the jewel in the Imps’ crown, a player who seemed destined for better things. Holding the midfield, he was described as ‘ratting around’ by teammates, always breaking up play.
Rumours were that Luton had been interested, but it was Peterborough who paid six figures for his services at the end of the season. His time at London Road was tough; he made 70 appearances in two seasons before being released. He later played for Wimbledon, York City and Colchester United, before moving to Sutton, his current club.
Matt Rhead

We all know what happened to the big man, one of the most beloved figures of the Cowley era. After winning the National League, he played in this game against Luton, before helping us to the Checkatrade Trophy win. The following season he hit an Imps career total of 50 goals as we won League Two, before an ill-fated move to Billericay.
Spells with Boreham Wood and Alfreton Town followed, before a switch to Kidsgrove, where he is currently part of the management team.
Matt Green

Prolific striker Green would finish on 17 goals, the top scorer, but couldn’t find the net against Luton.
He stayed for another year, before making the move to Salford as Nathan Arnold did (and Michael O’Connor). After 21 outings he swapped to Grimsby Town for two seasons, before spells with Yate, Gloucester City, Linfield and Newport City. Most recently, he was at Eastbourne Borough in the National League South.
