Excitement was high in summer 2017 when the tricky winger arrived from Brighton, having torn up the National League for Dagenham. But 11 anonymous League Two games later—plus two EFL Trophy goals against Everton kids—he was gone.
He was one of those players who looked tailor-made on paper, but who just never got going. He later yo-yoed around the National League and South. He was meant to be our next big attacking outlet. Instead, he barely beat a man.
