Nine Scandinavian Players City Could Target

Victor Lind – Midtjylland

As a Danish Under 21 international, this is another on the cusp of feasibility, which makes him perfect for our list. He’s on the books of Midtjylland but recently had loan spells with Norrköping and Vejle. His stint in Sweden with Norrköping caught my eye – six goals and an assist in the top flight there.

He’s versatile as well – he’s played through the middle as a striker most, but he can operate down the right-hand side of the pitch. His recent loan spell with Vejle hasn’t been great, but he’s only 20 and they are a side likely to be relegated.

Looking at his Swedish stay, he averaged 3.09 crosses per game, 3.05 dribbles and 0.24 xG per encounter. He looks like a hard-working, flexible player with a big future.
