Dalügge is another interesting one, but he may be on the cusp of being unavailable. He currently plays for a Danish second tier side, but has been on loan in the Faroe Islands. Neither qualifies him for transfer, but he has appeared for Lyngby in the top flight, albeit once. That may mean he’s not one for us.

It was a link in his past that got me thinking. He was due to sign for Genoa in Serie A until injury scuppered the move. That suggests a quality that perhaps others might now miss, given his recent loan spell in a Band Six league.

He’s averaged three shots per game in the Faroe Islands, bagging three goals in eight matches. He does play through the middle and stands 6ft 1in tall, offering an aerial threat (68% of his duels won). We do like a longer ball, at times, so who knows?
