Jing Reec is a really interesting one. He’s not Danish; he’s Australian, but with Logan coming from the Southern Hemisphere and given his connections to the A-League, I wondered if maybe we’d spotted Reec that way. He came through the ranks of the Central Coast Mariners, Which is where he is right now. Some things don’t fit – he’s not playing in Scandinavia right now, so Jez perhaps wouldn’t be able to go and watch him. Also, he hasn’t played in the top flight there, but I think he qualifies as he’s played in a continental competition, the Asia Cup.

Reec is young, just 20, and he’s still fairly raw, but he’s had a lot of experience in the AGF Under-19 side. The connection here was really the Australia thing, matched with his involvement in Scandinavia.
