Max Biamou

Biamou is a big, strong striker who has adapted at every stage of his career, climbing from non-league Sutton United to Coventry, then adjusting to League Two, League One and finally Championship football. Sure, at 30 he isn’t the typical player Michael signs, but he would offer a plan B, a focal point for defending up front, a big strong target for some of those sumptuous balls from Grant. I think he would be the extra dimension we have, at times, lacked. Think Rochdale, Swindon, Fleetwood at home, when we just needed the ball to stick up top so our flair players could get involved. Biamou could do that job, but he might be the wrong side of 27 to be seriously considered.
