Lincoln City’s Early January Signing – Who Could It Be?

Liam Delap

Liam Delap, 17, could make Premier League debut as Pep Guardiola claims Manchester City have 13 fit players | Sport | The Times

Sticking with the theme of hopefulness and Manchester City, Liam Delap is one who might be ripe for a loan move somewhere. The son of former Stoke man Rory Delap,  Liam is a centre-forward who already has a Premier League outing to his name, appearing for 40 minutes as Leicester beat Man City 5-2 in September. The 17-year-old has four goals from four games this season, scoring twice against Mansfield and once against Tranmere in the EFL Trophy, as well as netting a goal on his senior debut in the EFL Cup against Bournemouth. He is a centre forward, so that would fit our attacking requirements, but he might be valued a little too much by Pep at this stage.
