League One Clubs Circle For Aberdeen Striker Kusini Yengi
Several League One sides, including Blackpool, are monitoring Aberdeen striker Kusini Yengi ahead of a likely January loan move back to England, with the forward keen to secure regular football, according to the Press and Journal.
Stockport County, Wigan Athletic, Rotherham United, Blackpool and Stevenage are all thought to be closely watching the situation. Yengi has found opportunities limited in Scotland, featuring for just 25 minutes since late September and failing to make a Premiership matchday squad since November.
The Australia international previously thrived in League One with Portsmouth, playing a key role in their title-winning campaign two seasons ago, and that form has attracted renewed interest from clubs in the division.
While a permanent deal this month is considered unlikely, a loan return to League One is viewed as the most realistic route, offering Yengi the chance to rebuild momentum and re-enter international contention ahead of the summer.
