I do a few of these articles. It gets my knowledge up and I get to see some players I wouldn’t usually watch. I always pick five or so, but rarely do I see one that truly makes me go ‘okay, here’s a player’.
Swansea City have loaned Congreve to Dundee, and trust me, here is a player. He’s been in the EFL already, with 11 goal involvements for Bromley last season (five goals, six assists), and he’s already on five assists this campaign. He’s a winger, out-and-out, and he has something a little bit special.
Wales know it, as he’s been capped 12 times at Under 21 level, and Swansea know it as they’ve fielded him 15 times in the Championship. He loves a dribble, he loves a cross and I strongly suspect he’ll be doing both back in England next season, either for Swansea, or in League One.
