Doncaster Weigh Up Robinson As January Assessment Continues

Doncaster Rovers manager Grant McCann has confirmed that Derby County midfielder Darren Robinson is training with the club as they evaluate him ahead of the January window.

Robinson, twenty, recently completed a loan spell at St Patrick’s Athletic, but competition rules prevent him from representing any club until the new year. McCann has tracked him closely and believes he brings aggression, composure and character.

“He is a young player I have watched several times. He is a very good passer and has tremendous character,” McCann said.

Doncaster will continue their assessment through December as they plan their early window priorities.
