Adam Moseley’s Goal Rush Set To Earn Wigan Deal
Wigan Athletic are ready to turn Adam Moseley’s prolific trial spell into a permanent contract, with the striker having agreed terms ahead of the January window, according to Wigan Today.
The 20-year-old has been starring for the Latics under-21s with the blessing of non-league side Runcorn Linnets, where he previously played.
Moseley has hit 17 goals in 11 appearances since arriving at Christopher Park. After debuting against Brentford in early September, he scored four against Swansea City, then added another four in a 9-0 win at Coventry. He followed that with a brace in a 2-1 victory over Sheffield United, a hat-trick in a 4-1 success at Stoke and four more in a 7-2 rout of Barnsley.
The deal cannot be finalised until the transfer window opens in January, but Moseley is already firmly embedded in the academy set-up as Wigan prepare to move him from non-league prospect to full-time professional.
