Ibou Touray Sure Bradford City Performances Will Turn Into Wins
Bradford City defender Ibou Touray believes results will soon follow performances after the Bantams held Bolton Wanderers to a draw at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, becoming the first side since August to stop the hosts winning at home.
The game, reported by the Telegraph & Argus, saw City go toe to toe with one of League One’s form teams in front of Bolton’s biggest home crowd since 2012.
Touray produced another consistent display on the left, helping limit the threat of in-form winger Amario Cozier-Duberry while City grew in confidence after the break. The result extended a run without a league win, but the manner of the performance has given the squad renewed belief that they are close to turning the corner.
“It was unbelievable, a massive crowd and two good teams going for it,” Touray said. “It felt like a big game and we wanted to make sure we came here and did not lose. It was really important to come here and get back to being ‘us’ and what we have been good at.”
