“Over to him”: Schumacher hails Bolton loanee Cozier-Duberry
Steven Schumacher says Amario Cozier-Duberry “has a real chance to go and play at the top” if he keeps performing for Bolton.
The 20 year old winger, on loan from Brighton, has started every league game so far and has already delivered big moments, including late heroics at Huddersfield and a decisive finish against leaders Cardiff.
Schumacher praised both his attitude and his output, calling him “one of the nicest kids I’ve ever worked with,” and said Brighton are pleased with how Bolton are using him. He also said regular minutes are helping Cozier-Duberry develop after an uneven spell at Blackburn last season.
“He’s becoming the main man, he’s scoring goals for us,” Schumacher said. “He comes into work every day with a smile on his face. While he’s in that environment where he’s playing every week and he’s happy, his stock is only going higher, so that’s great for both clubs.”
