Neale Fenn
Intertoto Cup (2007/08, 2008/09), Europa League (2010/11)
Neale Fenn enjoyed a rich spell of European football late in his career, first featuring in the Intertoto Cup with Rhyl in 2007/08 and Bohemians in 2008/09, before turning out for Dundalk in the UEFA Europa League in 2010/11. His opponents included notable sides from across the continent, and he earned praise for his intelligent link-up play and composure in tight games.
Fenn had a loan spell with Lincoln City in 1999, joining from Tottenham Hotspur. Although he only made a handful of appearances for the Imps, his later European ventures—especially with Bohemians, where he won domestic honours—highlight a career that blossomed well after his Sincil Bank stopover.
Billy Cobb
Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (1961/62)
Billy Cobb played in the 1961/62 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup with Nottingham Forest, during a time when the competition served as the precursor to the modern UEFA Cup. Cobb featured in a side that reached the latter stages, and was the scorer of Forest’s first goal in European football, in a 5–1 defeat to Valencia.
He later spent time at Lincoln City during the late 1960s, famously scoring a hat-trick on his debut, in an 8–1 defeat of Luton Town.
