Frank Sinclair

Frank Sinclair enjoyed a rich European pedigree during his time at Chelsea, appearing in the UEFA Cup in 1994/95 and the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1997/98—a tournament Chelsea went on to win, making him one of the few Imps to have European honours on his record. Sinclair played in both campaigns, representing the club against sides like Viktoria Žižkov and Real Betis.
After his top-flight success, Sinclair spent the twilight of his career in the lower leagues, including a season at the Bank in 2007. Though his Imps appearances were few, the veteran brought a wealth of experience to Sincil Bank. His European exploits remain a defining chapter of a career that included England caps and more than 700 senior appearances across all levels of the game.
Jason Perry
Cup Winners’ Cup (1993/94)
Jason Perry represented Cardiff City in the 1993/94 Cup Winners’ Cup, part of the side that faced Katowice from Poland. Although Cardiff exited at the first hurdle, Perry’s involvement added to a solid professional career that also brought him senior Wales caps.
He joined Lincoln City at the start of the 1998/99 season, making just a handful of appearances. While his stay was short, his top-level experience—including that brief taste of European football—made him one of the more accomplished defenders to pull on the Imps shirt during the late 1990s.
