Charley Kendall scores goals, right? For Eastbourne, he did, but for Lincoln, he got none in the league. The now-24-year-old bagged once in the League Cup, and a couple in pre-season, including one as we hammered Boston 7-0. However, he wasn’t given a run of games by Mark Kennedy and ended up out on loan.

A goalless spell at Sutton followed. Then he got one in 11 for Bromley on loan, then three in 24 for Dagenham. He left permanently in 2023, moving to Woking (seven in 37) before settling at Southend, where he has five goals in 25 outings. one of those was their play-off winner against Rochdale, though, so they do quite like him at Roots Hall.
