Young Player of the Year – Sean Roughan (6.91)

Not a huge surprise here, given that he was also second in the Player of the Year standings. Sean, who is still only 22, is one game away from hitting 150 appearances for the Imps. He played every single minute in the league, one of only six outfield players to do so across the EFL, and he rarely let the side down.
It’s odd to be naming such a consistent player as Young Player of the Year, as it’s usually reserved for some exciting young thing breaking out of the academy. The truth is, Sean Roughan is still a young man, and that makes his achievements even more remarkable.
A worthy winner.
