We needed something attacking, and we got it in that window as well. Morgan Rogers has gone on to much better things, Champions League football and England honours the major two. He played 28 times for us, scoring just six goals and getting one assist according to Wyscout. Funny, Morgan Whittaker got five goals and one assist from eight games fewer, and I haven’t even added him to the list.
Perception is a funny old thing, and there’s perhaps a perception that Rogers did better than he did. Even by me, writing this. That said, six goals is not to be sniffed at, and he’d still make the top ten.
