Best Individual Display – Lasse Sorensen: Charlton Atheltic (H) 9.50

When he’s good, he’s very, very good. On a great night at the Bank, Lasse was outstanding as we beat a former manager’s side 3-1. It was a big night of redemption for Hakeeb Adelakun and Sean Roughan, frozen out by Appleton, and perhaps a night Lasse also proved a point. He’d played twice at right back under Appleton and was really poor both times, but in this game, he was outstanding.

He had 11 shots, and we played with a freedom that we perhaps hadn’t seen since Appleton’s first season. Lasse was always bubbling away as a potential fan favourite, even before this game, but nobody doubted him after his outstanding efforts, which really deserved a goal.
