Vincent Harper – Eastleigh

 

22-year-old Harper plays wide left, and began his career with Bristol City as a trainee. He didn’t make the grade there and has since wound up at Eastleigh via Chippenham Town (shudder). He’s quick, and can play left wing, but operates primarily as a left back. He screams ‘left wing-back in a 3-4-3’ to me, and whilst he might be a bit raw, there’s talent there waiting to be polished.

He loves to carry the ball, averaging 3.86 dribbles per game this season, and has a great crossing percentage of more than 50% accuracy. He’s certainly one to watch for the Spitfires and someone who could benefit from another step up in level
