David Goldsmith
Last on my list is David Goldsmith, a 27-year-old striker who was causing quite a stir stateside a couple of years ago. Goldsmith, who can operate in an attacking midfield role too, began his career with West Brom, and spent time with the Nike Academy. Whilst playing college soccer (sorry, had to) for Butler University, he was named Big East Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2016, and scored 41 goals with 9 assists in 70 appearances. He then played for Michigan Bucks and Indy Eleven but has not been in the game for a couple of years now. It looks unlikely, but you never know, right?
