Jack Barmby
We already have the sons of two footballers in our ranks, Brennan Johnson and Anthony Scully, and if Barmby were the trialist, he would make three. His dad is Nicky Barmby and at present, Jack is a free agent. He began his career with Manchester United before a move to Leicester City. From there, he had loan spells with Rotherham and Notts County, before heading to Portland to play for the Timbers, making it permanent in 2017. He made 18 MLS appearances before moving into the UCL Championship in America to play for San Antonio and Phoenix Rising.
Barmby is a former England youth, capped up to Under 20 level, and can play left-back, midfield or as a striker. Much of his football for Phoenix was as a left-midfielder, but the 26-year-old left there in January.
