25 starts, eight further appearances from the bench and two goals. It’s not the greatest loan spell a player has ever had, but we still owe a word of thanks to the Shrimpers for allowing us to have Marcus Marshall.

Why? December 28th, 2014. Imps against Grimsby. We won 3-1 and Marshall, playing against his old club, scores for us. In a period of few highlights, that day stands out over and above all of the others.
