Lincoln City Second XI, Premier League Style

Reserves

Oscar Thorn – Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United) 74.18%

We haven’t seen a lot of Oscar Thorn, but he’s comparable to Harvey Barnes, who I recall being great out on loan in the Championship. I love a player who gets at opponents, forces them to commit, and has a bit of end product, and I suspect we’re hoping to see that from Oscar next season.

Alfie Lloyd – Yeremy Pino (Crystal Palace) 74.29%

It’s a bit unfair for me to put Alfie in this final bit as he has more minutes than Ryan Oné at present, but not everyone can feature in the first ten, or the second ten.

The numbers here are gleaned from his time at Orient, and in that time, he most closely aligned with Pino, a Spanish international who I am learning about for the first time today.

Kamil Conteh – Yehor Yarmolyuk 68.5%

I used Kamil’s Bristol Rovers numbers, and I half expected to see Florentino come up again, but instead, we’re repping Ukraine with the final entry.

Yarmolyuk will be well known to our own Ukrainian import. They played together five times for Ukraine Under 21s before the Brentford man stepped up. Ivan will be hoping to join him if we ascend to the Championship next season. Kamil, one assumes, will just be hoping to get some minutes in red and white.
