Wycombe Wanderers Join Adegboyega Chase
Wycombe Wanderers have entered the race to sign Norwich City defender Emmanuel Adegboyega during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old is available after failing to break into Norwich’s first team, despite international recognition at Republic of Ireland Under-21 level. Wycombe’s interest reflects their recovery under Michael Duff, with the Chairboys now firmly within reach of the play-off places.
Adegboyega’s recent record includes a productive loan spell at Walsall and a full season as a regular starter for Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. His experience on the right side of a back three would translate comfortably into Wycombe’s tactical setup.
Rotherham United are believed to be pushing hardest due to relegation concerns, but Wycombe can offer a more stable, promotion-focused environment. As January progresses, this is a move that could have a meaningful impact on the play-off picture.
