Labinot Bajrami is a young forward who built his reputation in the FC Zürich academy system, where his goal output at development level marked him out as one of the most prolific attackers in the Swiss pyramid. His standout campaign came in the Promotion League, where he finished as the division’s top scorer, a return that underlined both his movement in the box and his instinctive finishing. Despite that form, his pathway into Zürich’s first team proved complicated, with opportunities limited during a period of contractual uncertainty.
A move away has allowed Bajrami to reset his senior career and gain regular minutes, most recently with Helmond Sport, where he continues to add to an already sizeable bank of senior appearances for his age. Remember, this is the level we signed Lewis Montsma from, and he has six goals and an assist. At 6ft 2in, he’s a big man who could be used as a Freddie Draper alternative.
