Five Free Agents Who Could Do a Job At Lincoln City

Nathan Redmond

From huge potential to an effective veteran, Redmond is still a free agent. I’m thinking about a player with drive, one who likes to beat a man and take him on,  which is perhaps something we lack. Age-wise, this isn’t entirely what we might want, and money would be an issue, but come on…

His career has taken him through some of the biggest stages in English football, beginning with Birmingham City in August 2010. After breaking through as a teenager, he became a regular across the Championship and cup competitions before moving to Norwich City in July 2013. Three seasons at Carrow Road established him as a Premier League-level wide player, leading to a switch to Southampton in June 2016.

Redmond enjoyed six years on the south coast, making nearly two hundred league appearances and becoming both Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Season in 2019. He took on a new challenge with Beşiktaş in September 2022, then returned to England when he joined Burnley in July 2023. He left the club in June 2025 following the end of his contract.

It won’t happen, but how he doesn’t have a club, I don’t know.
